Once the compulsory courses are mapped in the degree audit system ("what is left for my graduation"), the remaining credited master's or doctoral courses (whether compulsory or elective—including all elective courses taken within or outside the university) are defined as elective courses.
A minimum of 12 credits (4 courses) must be successfully completed.

Master's Degree Graduation Procedures
After Master's students submit 1 blue-bound copy of their thesis and other required documents to our Student Affairs Office, the paperwork is submitted to the upcoming Institute Executive Board meeting, and the graduation is officially approved. Subsequently, the information in your file is entered into the alumni information system and forwarded to the Department of Student Affairs so that your diploma can be prepared. The printing and distribution of Master's diplomas are carried out by the Diploma Office of the Department of Student Affairs.
When receiving your diploma, you are strictly required to submit a document proving the return of your student ID card, along with a clearance document from the library showing you have no outstanding debts, to the Department of Student Affairs.
You can only receive your diploma in person or through a relative who holds a notarized power of attorney.
Important Notice for Our Male Students: Your graduation is reported to the relevant Military Recruiting Offices within 1 month at the latest. If you are planning to pursue a Ph.D., you must be highly attentive during this stage. If your military deferment was processed by our Institute, it must be officially canceled upon your graduation. After the cancellation process is complete, you are required to apply with a new status certificate.
